The short version
This site only collects what you choose to send: your email address if you join the newsletter, and your name, email and message if you use the contact form. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts.
The newsletter
When you sign up, your email address goes to Kit, the service that sends the newsletter. It is used only to send book updates and announcements from E. Gallegos. It is never sold or shared with anyone else. Kit's own privacy policy covers how they store it.
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list. You can also ask for your address to be deleted entirely through the contact form.
The contact form
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by Web3Forms, which screens them for spam, emails them to Erica, and keeps a copy for 30 days (see their privacy policy). Your name and email address are used only to reply to you. They are never added to the newsletter, sold, or shared.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes basic technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and keep the site secure. See Netlify's privacy policy.
Links to other sites
The Amazon buttons and social links take you to other websites, which have their own privacy policies.
